A gastroscopy is a procedure where a thin, flexible tube called an endoscope is used to look inside the oesophagus (gullet), stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum) to investigate problems and evaluate various symptoms.
It's a very safe procedure, but complications can occur like all medical procedures. Especially when doctors who are not specially trained and experienced in this procedure perform the operation.
Possible complications include internal bleeding and tearing of the lining of your oesophagus, stomach or duodenum (perforation).
We Trandomed can provide gastroscopy model for young doctors to practice this kind of procedure. It can reproducce the inner structure of stomach. We also can add some ulcer and polyp in the stomach upon your request. It's proved by our customer that it is a perfect teaching model.
