Trandomed Invited To Conduct Neurointervention Training Through Its 3D Printed Silicone Vascular

On November 18, 2020, at the enthusiastic invitation of Henan Provincial People's Hospital, Mao Meng, Marketing Manager of Trandomed, brought three different types of 3D printed neurovascular models which were independently developed by Trandomed to participate in the first neurointervention training workshop held by the hospital. At this training workshop, Trandomed’s neurovascular models as the main training tool were put into use , which was highly praised by those participated medical instructors and trainees of the hospital.

At the workshop, two professor-level instructors from Henan Provincial People’s Hospital and Beijing Xuanwu Hospital explained the basic theories of cerebrovascular diseases in detail to over 50 trainees from different primary hospitals, and they also demonstrated as well as guided the trainees to accurately carry out cerebrovascular angiography, guide wire shaping and stent placement and positioning skills on Trandomed’s silicone models . After several hours of theoretical study and model practice, all student has basically mastered the skills of cerebrovascular angiography, which laid a solid foundation for the prevention and treatment of stroke in primary hospitals.

After the training ,these instructors and trainees delightedly stated that the silicone vascular models being used in the training have greatly improved efficiency and quality of interventional surgery training program. Some trainees also expressed their strong willingness and interests to promote Trandomed’s various silicone models to the hospitals which they are working in.
